A Comprehensive List Of Showjumping Resources
Hey guys! You know I'm absolutely obsessed with showjumping, esp the neverending quest to make my stories feel as realistic as possible. Through writing and hosting events I've accumulated a bunch of knowledge that I thought would be fun to share! I'm a bit absent at the moment but I've noticed a sort of trend to include some of the real life aspects in HARPG events in recent times. Maybe even since the HCL? xD But I thought, if people want to use those elements, they might want to do it correctly (the FEI star system is not what you think it is) If you're interested, here's a document I've started to write over a year ago - it's unfinished but there's already more than enough information to make it worth your while. Please also read the disclaimer at the top of the document - the whole thing is not directed at anybody, it's not meant as criticism or snark, it's just meant for people who like learning about the nitty, gritty details of the sport and share all the resources I

Bully Anatomy AND Sketching Tutorial N.1
Ever have issues trying to Bully? Are they just not been good to your or your thing? Or you just can't seem to find easy ways to draw them? There, there. Shhh. South is here.. So i've set up a cool easy way to start bullying right away! LETS GET STARTED! FIRST I'D LIKE TO START TEACHING EVERYONE HOW TO DO THEIR HEADS. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART ON ANY BULLY OF COURSE. SO, SIMPLY JUST DRAW ONE BIG CIRCLE (red) THEN WE WILL THEN DRAW ANOTHER SMALLER CIRCLE (green) LITTLE MORE THAN HALF WAY DOWN THE BIG CIRCLE YOUR RED CIRCLE STANDS FOR YOUR HEAD. AND THE GREEN IS YOUR MUZZLE (For Classic to XL - XXL types the (green) will be near the bottom of your (red) circle. Since in the larger breeds aside from pockets and other micro type the face is longer than theirs.) NEXT WE'RE GOING TO ADD THEIR CHEEKS. THE AMERICAN BULLY IS KNOWN FOR IT'S SUPER ROUND / BLOCKY HEAD. SO IN ORDER FOR YOU TO HAVE THE PERFECT BULLY..WE ADD THE BLOCKINESS TO IT. FOR ME I JUST DRAW TO OVALS (blue)

MACKEREL TABBY[MTB / MTb]
Like classic tabby, mackerel tabby is another common tabby type. It creates long,
vertical, gently curving stripes on the body, as well as banding on the tail, legs, and face.
-
RANGEMackerel tabby striping should never show on the toes, muzzle, or the inside of the ears!
However, mackerel tabby can have solid dark markings that cover the toes and ankles, like so.
MAXIMUM RANGE
Dark foot markings should never go outside this range:
KEY ELEMENTS OF MACKEREL TABBYThere are a total of four key elements to mackerel tabby that must be present in every tabby design.
These are
Prefixes
Prefixes are most often given at birth, so they are generally about pelt color, body build, fur texture, or the actions of a kit when they're born. Some queens may wait until a kit is a bit older to name their kits, so prefixes regarding eye color or personality could also be used, although rarely in most cases. Some queens may give their kits names based simply on plants/animals they like, or they may even just like the name itself. If a cat joins a Clan when they're a bit older or if a name is changed, prefixes may be given based on personality, actions, or disabilities.

:bulletred: We are in Beta-phase, please bear with us :bulletred: Understanding HARPG horses :bulletblue: Harpg has real breeds and fantasy breeds. :bulletblue: All real breeds are free to create, but not all fantasy/player-made breeds are. :bulletblue: A 'closed-breed' is a player-created breed you can't make yourself. :bulletblue: In this group we predominantly use realism, therefore our horse guide will be specifically set up with real-breeds and closed-breeds, featuring realistic colors, in mind. :bulletblue: We use REAL genetics for breeding, no random coat designs popping up with impossible combinations, there are no foals with exactly the same markings as parents etc. If you are new to genetics, don't worry! There are plenty guides for that, and we are happy to help you work out the color of your foal. :bulletblue: In HARPG we have 'starter' and 'Lineage' horses. Starters are brand new horses with no pedigree in the game(we don't count links to any real-life

How to Submit Literature on DA--Updated 08/2021
If you want to submit literature on DeviantArt, you have two choices:
(1) Submitting it directly on the dA website as text
(2) Submitting as a .pdf (I tried submitting with a Word doc and it didn't work like it should).
After these two tutorials, I've also created a tutorial how to use Sta.sh Storage feature to edit a work. You can find the link for it in the description (or just go to the next tutorial)
*Side Note for any deviant who's been here for years: DA's latest update prevents veteran deviants (long-time usesrs) from submitting text like we used to a few years ago; however, you can edit older deviations' text the old way by clickin
‡ Table BreakdownHeader Cell: these are for the header text. They're coded to support H2 headers. These label the cells beneath them.
Standard Cell: your typical content cells. These are meant for everything to go in them, there is a header tag code for them ( all headers H1 - h4 are styled for these cells to produce the same appearance ) while you can put headers in these cells, they're really not meant for that, so the header codes for them are smaller.
‡ But How, Table? The table is a series of <*div> tags ( sans * ) nested together. Each div has an assigned class. These go in the following order.

Journal CSS: Thumb table
This is an outdated technique - I suggest people stop using it!
You're welcome to use it if you really want, but check out this updated method first!
Featuring thumbs is something we all like to do in our journals, but a problem has always been that when they are of different heights and widths it can look a bit haphazard.
eg:

For a while now I've had an idea in my head that it'd be possible to get these to center vertically and hence look much nicer, but it wasn't till wroth (https://www.deviantart.com/wroth) came and gave me a poke that I

Journal {CSS} Guide - Beginners
Hi there,
If you are reading this blog then I assume that you are interested in learning about deviantART Journal Skins. In this beginner’s tutorial I’ll be covering the basic understanding of HTML, CSS and DA’s journal skins. I’ll be explaining everything in details from the scratch so that you do not miss anything. I have designed this tutorial in such a way that I can assure you that you’ll be able to achieve a working knowledge of deviantART journal skins.
